My good friend, Wes White, sent this link today. It's from the Modern Mechanix blog. In August 1939, Popular Science created an article on the Lagoon of Nations display at the World's Fair. The giant attraction is probably the granddaddy of all water/fountain/entertainment shows for the sheer enormity of the undertaking!
