CBC: The Fifth Estate - Sticks and Stones

If you've been following my blog for any amount of time, you know my passion for media reform in my country of residence. The CBC produced an excellent 43 minute piece on what it means to be a "liberal" in the U.S. of A. It's bizarre knowing that the States is touted as one of the most progressive countries, when, in reality, we somehow became the most conservative, close-minded people of the world. I don't believe that the current administration thinks of themselves as fallible and cannot even fathom the idea of the country ceding to another. Our media is filled with mudracking, half-truths, and one-sided stories. It's time to move beyond partisan reporting and once again get the full story.
