WTF???

For all of you still paying off student loans out there, take a look at the statements for July. Yep. Interest rates went up just like we were warned. Here's what gets me: My car loan has a lower APR than my school loans! I don't know about you, but it concerns me when my education is more expensive than some luxury item. What is the government thinking??? There is no reason to make education this expensive. Education guarantees the success of our country. Education is the base for making the economy strive (better educated = more income = more buying power). I really don't get it.
