Day 1 on the road got a late start. The truck was packed by noon, I ran to get my allergy shot, came back "home" and packed the cooler and cat. I pulled into Gulfport, MS, just in time to get myself and the cat into the hotel room before some severe thunderstorms hit. All night long. Every two hours I was woken up by a flash, crash, BOOM!
Traveling with the cat is interesting as well. About a 1/2 hour into the trip, we had to have a "discussion" as to who was driving the car. Apparently he called shotgun, and I didn't understand his meow. After a bit of rearrangement, we were settled and good to go.
Day 2 is the long haul to Abeline, TX. At least the rain is almost done!
